2026 Primary Election
Final turnout. The figures are the State Board's certified canvass reports: ballots cast (whether or not they were counted), the ballots counted, and the certified turnout percentage. The percentage is ballots cast over eligible voters — everyone registered who is not incomplete or cancelled, active and inactive together.
The two mail-in figures above are different certified records. Vote by mail is the mode of voting: the turnout-by-mode report's count of ballots cast by mail. Mail-in ballots received back is the certified mail-in report's envelope count: 298,681 envelopes returned, dispositioned as 295,400 accepted and 3,281 rejected. The report's note covers ballots requested or automatically sent, Federal write-in absentee ballots included — ballots cast versus envelopes returned, so the two figures are not the same measure.
The State Board's certified eligible-voter workbooks have not re-published to the press room yet, so this page shows no turnout percentage yet; it appears when those files return (the same daily snapshot keeps watching for them).
